“Why are you pro-life (in cases of abortion)?” “Science tells me that abortion kills a living biological human being. And I believe all living human beings ought to be treated equally.” “What does your group do?” Big Picture “Our group seeks to protect all human life from conception to natural death.” If your group has signed the Pregnant on Campus® Agreement also include, “We help promote pregnancy and parenting resources so students may be empowered to make life affirming decisions while continuing to pursue their education.” Little Picture “We do this by hosting educational displays and speakers on campus about abortion and related topics, engaging students in dialogue, doing flyer/chalking/social media activism, praying at the local abortion facility, doing fundraisers and campus-improvement campaigns for pregnant and parenting students, and recruiting more pro-life students to the cause.” (Give tangible examples of what your group actually does on campus.) Literally, have group members rehearse these responses and talking points! This tiny, easy step will significantly improve your recruitment efforts and preparedness to engage your school about abortion and what you’re doing to end it. Other important talking points to know:
