“The tickets will be on us for students taking the Unplanned Challenge, bringing a pro-choice friend to see the story of Abby Johnson’s life-changing experience,” said SFLA’s Kristan Hawkins.
WASHINGTON D.C. (04-04-19) –Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins announced the student UNPLANNED CHALLENGE today, asking pro-life students nationwide to take a pro-choice friend or family member to see the movie Unplanned, the story of how an abortion vendor – Abby Johnson – became pro-life after witnessing the ugly realities of abortion at Planned Parenthood. “My friend Abby represents a generation of women who found Planned Parenthood to be a business focused on profits that ignored the people most impacted by abortion, the preborn. But don’t take my word for it; Come see the movie for yourself,” said Hawkins.

Hawkins previously challenged Planned Parenthood President Leana Wen to join her in a showing ofUNPLANNED, offering to donate to Wen’s medical school if she would take a “look at the abortion industry from the perspective of someone who knows it as you do. If you join me, I’ll make a $5,000 contribution to your alma mater, Washington University School of Medicine.”
“While the movie industry may be surprised that Unplanned the movie doubled it’s expected earnings in the box office the first weekend, pro-life Americans across the country believed this powerful story of redemption would find an audience ready for the truth about the dark work Planned Parenthood operates in,” said Hawkins. “The media may ignore the movie, and Twitter may censor the message, but hearts are changing and babies will be saved because of this movie.”
Students for Life of America students already are talking about how the movie opened their eyes to what happens behind the closed doors of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s number one abortion vendor.
