Governor Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, is a major supporter of abortion and legalized infanticide. His father, Mario Cuomo, played semantics to justify his dual 1. Catholic beliefs 2. support for legalized abortions. Safe to say, the family loves abortion and has dedicated their political careers to ensuring as many abortions as possible happen in New York.
Last year, Cuomo signed into law infanticide legalization under the New York Reproductive Health Act. Pro-lifers warned that the legislation, which also repealed basic every pro-life law on the books, could also lead to unintended consequences, such as enabling murderers who killed a pregnant woman. Under the new laws, a preborn baby is never treated as a human being, which means that fetal homicide laws are repealed. Cuomo dismissed the concerns, because it could get in the way of his plan to abort as many babies as possible in New York. He also lit the One World Trade Center up in pink to pay homage to abortion and Planned Parenthood.
Then, shortly after, a pregnant woman was murdered, and although her preborn baby was just a few weeks shy of being covered by the fetal homicide laws (which only started in the second-trimester in New York), the future effects, and the current message it sends, shows that New York doesn’t respect human life, so why should other people?
Now, Cuomo’s legislative allies wants to continue enabling violent men, especially on college campuses, by making dangerous chemical abortion drugs freely available on campuses. This follows the lead of abortion activist governor Gavin Newsom of California.
The legislation, “Requires SUNY to offer abortion by medication techniques at all on-campus student health centers at colleges or universities within the SUNY system and creates a fund to help finance the implementation of offering such services at SUNY on-campus student health centers.”
Chemical abortion drugs are dangerous and have been used by violent men. As NBC News recently reported, for example, “Jagmeet Sandhu was arrested on multiple felony charges after allegedly holding his girlfriend at gunpoint until she took unknown pills, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. Authorities began investigating after someone who claimed to be the unidentified woman’s family member reported the incident.” Though it’s unclear if he specifically used RU-486 drugs, there is no reason violent college men wouldn’t use RU-486 drugs in the same fashion to force an abortion.
