President Trump is halting funding to the World Health Organization (WHO), due to their mishandling of the coronavirus crisis. But this is also a major victory for pro-lifers since the World Health Organization is also a propaganda arm for the abortion industry.
NBC News reports, “President Trump announced Tuesday that he is halting funding for the World Health Organization pending a review of its response to the initial coronavirus outbreak after it criticized his restrictions on travel from China.
Trump accused the WHO of “severely mismanaging and covering up” the coronavirus crisis, specifically the initial outbreak in Wuhan, China.”
In the middle of a global health crisis, WHO bizarrely found it a priority to push countries to ensure women could continue to receive abortions.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America previously told Fox News, “Pregnancy is not a disease cured by abortion, and using American tax dollars to prop up an organization committed to abortion is a misuse of scarce resources. The Trump Administration should restrict funds to organizations funding and supporting abortion to better invest in real solutions to world problems.”
