North Dakota Judges Forced to Allow Down Syndrome Abortions Even Though They’re “Eugenic”

Something unusual happened recently in a courthouse in Fargo, North Dakota. Two federal appeals judges, Ralph Erickson and Bobby Shepherd, were reviewing an Arkansas bill that would make it illegal to target babies with Down Syndrome for abortion. They wanted the bill to be allowed. But a 1992 judicial precedent forced them to deem it unconstitutional. So what did Judge Erickson do? He asked the Supreme Court to overturn the previous bad decision and give states the authority to ban abortions. The dissent written by Erickson delved deeply into his concerns that this type of license to kill based

It’s a Pro-Life Kickoff Weekend!

On Thursday, September 7, the New England Patriots will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the opening night of the 2017 NFL season. In honor of that, we’ve compiled a list of pro-life NFL players; not only do they play a tough sport, they stand up for life!

Ben Watson

Watson plays tight end for the Baltimore Ravens. Even cooler than that, he is an outspoken pro-life Christian. For example, Watson spoke at the 2017 National Pro-Life March, calling on both men and women to work together to end abortion, arguing that responsible men are needed to promote life.

You can watch his speech here:

Matt Birk

Birk played center for the Baltimore Ravens during their Super Bowl-winning 2013 season. Birk attracted both controversy and prayer for declining to attend a ceremony at the White house with President Barack Obama.

Birk explained that as a committed pro-life Catholic he did not want to attend a ceremony with a President that recently had said ‘God bless Planned Parenthood.’ Birk said in response, “Planned Parenthood performs about 330,000 abortions a year…I am Catholic, I am active in the Pro-Life movement and I just felt like I couldn’t deal with that. I couldn’t endorse that in any way.”

Kurt Warner

Former quarterback Kurt Warner taped an ad opposing an embryonic stem cell research ballot measure,  and in support of pro-life groups opposing the ballot measure. He has given speeches before about his faith and how it helped him through tough times.

Tim Tebow

Although Tebow is now pursuing an MLB career, he might be remembered for a long time for his role in a controversial Super Bowl ad. His mother, Pam Tebow, was a pro-life activist who made an ad for pro-life group Focus on the Family about the struggles of her pregnancy with her son.
