WASHINGTON D.C. (11-15-19) – Reacting to news that a federal jury has found against citizen journalist David Daleiden for videos created about Planned Parenthood’s side business of selling infant body parts, Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins made the following statement:
“This is a case of shooting the proverbial messenger who had the courage to document the business model of the nation’s biggest abortion vendor. It was clear during the hearing that Planned Parenthood did harvest and sell fetal body parts. What a miscarriage of justice to punish those who documented the disgusting practices. This is the end of undercover journalism in our nation, which is ironic timing given all the attention to whistle-blowers these days.”
“Even now, the U.S. Department of Justice delays looking into the behavior that should have been at the heart of this case. A humane society does not cut up babies and sell the parts to the highest bidder.”
