Did the Pro-Life Movement Cause an Increase in Late-Term Abortions?

The abortion lobby says yes. But the numbers tell a different story. The Journal of the American Medical Association recently published a study specific to Texas that assessed the state’s postponement of surgical abortion during the early months of COVID. The conclusion of the study seems certain that late-term abortion numbers increased as a result (something the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute and National Abortion Federation jumped on immediately). Back in March, Texas was one of multiple states that deemed abortion a “nonessential service.” Reading the AMA study with no other background information would indeed raise most people’s suspicions about the effect

SHOCKING: Christian University Promotes Planned Parenthood as a Student Resource

Oklahoma City University, a school affiliated with the United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, lists Planned Parenthood as a resource for students in two places on their website. Planned Parenthood is listed on their Health and Wellness Links page and their list of Local Hospitals and Physicians.

Katie Lodjic, the National Field Director for Students for Life Action, sent Oklahoma City University a letter asking them to remove Planned Parenthood from their lists of resources.

Leslie Berger, the president of the university, responded:

“Planned Parenthood is listed on the OCU clinic website as a health resource. The university will continue to include this resource.”

Christian schools like Oklahoma City University should be places where students are educated to respect the dignity of all human beings. By promoting Planned Parenthood, they are allowing the students in their care to be educated by the nation’s largest abortion vendor that actively tells students that killing an innocent baby is fine. This is going against the very principles that Oklahoma City University should stand for as a Christian university.

Pro-life activists are encouraged to contact the president of the university, urging the university to remove Planned Parenthood from their website, and to come out in support of the dignity of all human life. You can take action using this Digital Action Center.

This incident follows the removal of Planned Parenthood links from:
